What is the Business App configuration?

Everyone has their own preferences, so configure the Piggy Business App to suit you. Here you will learn about options like choosing the front or the rear camera, PIN codes, scanning first, amount first and the maximum input amount.

All these settings can be set via the Dashboard at Tools, Business App, Configurations.

General: these are the general settings

• Name: This is the name of your Business App configuration and is only visible in the Dashboard
• Dismiss time: This is the time in seconds after which the app returns to the home screen, after activating the camera for scanning 

• Camera position: Here you can set which camera should be used on the tablet - either the front or rear camera
• PIN code: Here you can enter a four-digit code for additional security, which is used as a PIN code in the Store App
• Device: Here you determine which devices may be linked to this configuration. Different devices can therefore have different configurations

Loyalty: the settings you enter here are specifically related to the actions required for loyalty campaigns.

• Prefix: Here you can choose to put a '€' or '£' in front of the amount.
• Screen after the customer has scanned the card: here you can choose the following options:
  - Default: click on Save, scan card and enter amount
  - Overlay: click on Save, scan card, click on front screen and enter amount
  - Passcode: click on Save, scan card, enter pin code, enter amount

• Endscreen dismiss time: The number of seconds the end screen remains on screen

• Lock Time:  The number of seconds between each scan. This prevents the customer from quickly scanning the card again to illegally add points

• Warning amount:  Set an amount at which you will receive a warning on the tablet. This way you can prevent accidentally adding too many points

• Sequence of screens: Here you set whether you first scan the card and then enter the amount, or first enter the amount and then scan the card

• POS Scan Time: This is the time taken after scanning with a cash register integration

• Max. Input amount: Here you can set a maximum amount that can be awarded at one time
• Marketing opt. in screen: This screen gives the saver the opportunity to sign up for your marketing 

• Allow anonymous registrations: This is the option where a saver can register an anonymous card. This means that the points are not linked to a personal email address. As a result, the saver cannot adjust his/her profile or activate the card himself and it is not possible to email him/her later or find lost points (if the saver does not know its card number)
• Allow forgotten card: If you allow this option, a saver can still save if they have forgotten to take the card with them. The saver can then do this by entering the email address of the savings account

Gift cards: here you set everything for the actions with the gift cards

• Prefix: Here you can choose to put a '€' or '£' in front of the amount.
• Screen after the customer has scanned the card: here you can choose the following options:
  - Default: click on Gift card, scan card and enter amount
  - Overlay: click on Gift card, scan card, click on front screen and enter amount
  - Pass code: click on Gift card, scan card, enter pin code, enter amount

• Endscreen dismiss time: The time, in seconds, that the end screen shows 

• Max. imput amount : This is the maximum amount that can be added to a gift card

StripCards: here you set everything for the actions with the StripCards

  - Overlay: click on StripCard, scan card, click on front screen and enter amount
