Tiers

Reward regular customers and big savers!

You can now offer your regular customers an extra bonus by using Tiers. Tiers allow you to automatically assign savers a certain status. For example, consider Bronze, Silver and Gold as tiers, where a higher total credits received or number of transactions leads to a higher tier. You can then apply alternative loyalty rules that apply to a specific tier.

How do I set up Tiers?

To set up Tiers, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Business Dashboard, go to Loyalty and then click Tiers
  2. Click Add and fill in the name of the tier. Then click Create
  3. At Basic you can change the name and description of the tier, here you can also add an image
  4. Under Terms, add one or more Terms. If a tier contains no terms, any contact is eligible for this level

Terms

With multiple terms within a tier, a saver must meet all conditions to enter the tier.

Example: The following two terms are set for "Gold" level:

  • Total credits received is greater or equal to 500.
  • Last transaction date is less than 30 days ago.

A customer who has already saved a total of 550, but their last transaction date was 2 months ago, will not be eligible for the "Gold" tier. If this customer saves credits again, they will automatically join "Gold" and be removed from the tier if no credits are saved for more than 30 days.

Contacts can only be assigned one tier at a time. For this reason, the order in which the tiers are listed is important.

If a contact does not meet the terms of the upper tier, it will automatically drop until a tier is reached where the contact does meet the termsFor this reason, there is no need to set an upper limit for a tier.

Please note! The terms of lower tiers are automatically (invisibly) added to a tier. So, to get into the "Silver" tier, a contact must meet the terms of both "Bronze" and "Silver."

Use tiers to reward savers

It's always nice to reward regular customers or to motivate new customer to visit you more often. Here are some ways you can do this!

Loyalty rules

In the Business Dashboard, at Loyalty > Rules you can add loyalty rules that only apply to a particular tier. For example, you can let customers in a high tier save 10% faster, or give an extra 5 points with each transaction. Read more about loyalty rules here

Rewards

Want to offer exclusive rewards for certain customers or make existing rewards cheaper for customers in a higher tier? In the Business Dashboard, under Loyalty > Rewards, you can add rewards that are only visible to customers within a specific tier. You can do this by applying a visibility filter to the contact attribute tier for a reward
