Installing the Lightspeed eCommerce plugin

Follow the steps below to link your Lightspeed webshop to your Piggy account, so your customers can easily collect points on each purchase

Getting your Authentication information

To allow Piggy access to your orders, which Piggy needs to create loyalty transactions for your customers, you must first create an API-key in your LightSpeed eCommerce back-office.

  1. Login to your LightSpeed back-office
  2. In the navigation sidebar, navigate to Settings
  3. Under the Store Settings category, click on Developers
  4. Create a new API key with a name of your choosing
  5. At the very least, check the boxes to allow Read rights for Customers and Orders
  6. Enable the API key, and click Save
    An API key and API secret will be generated, these are needed in the second step

Installing the LightSpeed integration in the Business Dashboard

  1. Login to your account in the Business Dashboard
  2. In the top right, click the Tools (9 dots), then choose Integrations from the dropdown
  3. Find the LightSpeed integration and click Install
  4. Follow the steps and fill in the information acquired from the step above where asked
  5. Select the business profile / shop from where the points should be sent
