Email customers with a high point balance

By using custom features you can send emails to specific customers, incentivising them to return.

For example: You want to activate customers with a high point balance to redeem rewards. You can set up automatic emails that are triggered when customers reach a certain number of points (i.e 500 points). 

  1. In the Dashboard, go to Loyalty and choose the Loyalty program
  2. Choose Settings and then click Custom Attributes
  3. Click on the Green Plus at the top right
  4. Choose Use a preset and then choose Previous point balance
  5. Click Create. The Attribute window opens and you can click away
  6. Click again at the top right on the Green Plus
  7. Make the choice here for Use a preset and then choose Current point balance
  8. Click Create. The Attribute window opens and you can click away
  9. Now go to Marketing, then go to Programs and select the Marketing program
  10. Choose Custom Attributes and click the Green plus at the top right
  11. Select Sync from another program, choose Savings, select your Loyalty program and then Previous Points Balance. Do the same for Current Points Balance
  12. Click Create. The Attribute window opens and you can click away. 

You have now created a custom attribute in the Loyalty Program, which you have synced with the Marketing Program, so that you can email in response to the attribute. 

Because you want the system to automatically email at a certain event (Known as a 'Trigger'), you want to set up a Triggered Campaign for this. In this example, a customer reaching 500 points will be the Trigger.

  1. First of all, create a Template, in which you congratulate the customer for the 500 points and highlight your best rewards
  2. Go to Campaigns and choose a Triggered campaign
  3. Create a Campaign by clicking the Green plus in the top right 
  4. Go through the steps using the Green arrow at the top right
  5. Click on the Green plus at Triggers and select Loyalty transaction
  6. Under Filters, click the Green plus and select Custom Attribute, Previous Points Balance, Value 500, Operator Less Than and Add
  7. Click the Green plus again and select Custom Attribute, Current Points Balance , Value 500, Operator Greater Equal and Add
  8. For the Delay time, determine how much time should pass between the scan and the receipt of the email and click Done.
  9. The Campaign is now set to Inactive. Open the Campaign and click the green Activate button at the top right to activate it.
