Custom Attributes (Loyalty)

Custom Attributes are the properties you set on your Member profiles (Loyalty module) and Recipient profiles (Marketing module).

Custom attributes can be used with Loyalty Pro and Loyalty Enterprise, Marketing Pro and Marketing Enterprise. You can select attributes we have made (Presets), or create your own custom attributes. Once you have created a custom attribute in Marketing you can sync it to Loyalty. 

Custom Attributes can be anything, from the consumer’s first name and birthday, or personal preferences, such as their favourite car brand. They allow you to email and/or reward specific customers.  Below you can find the steps to create custom attributes and how to apply them. 

For example: Currently every euro is worth one point. You want to reward customers who visit often, and give them 1.2 times as many points from their 30th visit on. 

  1. In your Dashboard you go to Loyalty and choose your Loyalty Program
  2. Choose Settings and click on Custom Attributes
  3. Click on the Green Plus on the top right
  4. Choose Make your own
  5. Give your attribute a Label. This is how it’s shown in the customer’s app. In this example, you can name it Number of transactions
  6.  It will automatically fill in a Name, this is how it’s shown internally
  7.  Select Type. Because it’s a number selection, you choose Number
  8.  Click on Create, the Attribute window will open
  9. Select the Loyalty Program and select the Attribute, in this case Number of transactions and click on Save

Now that you have created the Custom Attributes, you can create special Rules for customers who have visited your store, for example, 30 times. 

  1. In your Dashboard you go to Loyalty and choose your Loyalty Program
  2. Choose Settings and click on Rules
  3. Click on the Green Plus on the top right
  4. Give the Rule a Name
  5. Select Type rule for Multiply and Option 1.2
  6. Click on Filters and on the Green Plus
  7. Select the Filter Custom Attribute and select Number of transactions
  8. As you want to reward extra for more than 30 saving transactions, you enter 30 at Value and select Greater than at Operator

When saving a Custom Attribute, where synchronisation is enabled, all available information is filled in immediately. Customers can then also change/add to their values ​​for the Custom Attributes via the iPad.
